Four years ago this week we had the opportunity to go on a cruise vacation for the first time. We cruised out of Galveston for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Breeze. Over those 7 days we discovered just how addicting cruises can be.
One of our destinations was the spectacular island of Grand Cayman were we spent the day with some new friends who made the same decision we did in early 2016, to join a unique cruise membership club focused on helping people save money on every cruise they book. Together we spent the day on a private eco tour. Not only did we have a chance to see some cool areas of Grand Cayman, we also visited Stingray City.
Stingrays Fun
One of the highlights of our private eco-tour was the visit to Stingray City. In doing research prior to our cruise vacation one of the things we saw over and over was how much fun it is to swim with the stingrays. It happen to be a breezy day when we visited Grand Cayman so there was some wave action but it didn’t prevent us from being able to spend time with these beautiful animals. The opportunity to be with the stingrays in the wild is one that is truly unforgettable. And it was super cool being able to catch some underwater video.
