MKE Week 7 – Seven Laws
December 13, 2020
Are you aware of the Seven Laws of the Mind? These seven laws that are natural laws guide various aspects of life. As part of the Master Key Experience we have the honor of reading these seven laws on a daily basis. Keys to success if one really takes the time to think about it. And a good time to think about it would be during a sit, while taking the time to visualize your future success as I mentioned during last year’s journey.
So what are the Seven Laws you ask? This week I thought I would share them, including my interpretive summary.
Seven Laws of the Mind
Law of Substitution
One can’t think about two things at once. So when a negative thought invades the mind try to think of another pleasant thought or memory or even God instead. The key being to “resist evil” by being the watchman at the gate.
Law of Relaxation
Infinite intelligence can only be accessed by relaxation of thought. The key to progressing mentally and not defeating oneself is to have a calm state of mind, unlike with physical progression that means reducing effort.
Law of Practice
The 5 P’s are at play – Perfect Practice Prevents Poor Performance. The iconic coach John Wooden mentions that when studying the success of others one will find that “you’ll find most of it is practice, the rest is work.” So if one wants to improve on the other six laws practice the correct things.
Law of Forgiveness
Avoid roadblocks in connecting the subconscious mind with the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Creator by forgiving everyone. Don’t allow anger or resentment to exist towards others, even if it’s justified as this prevents a connection.
Law of Dual Thought
Any feeling that one wants can be attached to a thought, as thought is a combination of ideation and feeling.
Law of Subconscious
The subconscious works constantly, 24-7, via accessing of a reservoir of infinite resources, towards manifesting demand as it accepts an idea it becomes demand.
Law of Growth
What one thinks about grows while what one forgets about atrophies.
I’m curious to hear what your thoughts on these important Seven Laws of the Mind!
