MKE Week 8 – Linking

Linking

Week 8 equals two months into the courageous adventure known as the Master Key Experience.  And it’s time to start linking all that’s being learned when it comes to successfully creating that new blueprint.  To see why it’s important to not to “try” to do your best but to do your best when it comes to achieving.

The great John Wooden talks about the hard work that it takes to achieve success and the satisfaction that’s involved.

Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.

And that involves that thing known as honest reflection via utilization of the Guy in the Glass.  Yes we just snuck linking in.

Linking Is Everywhere

See linking is something seen all over the Internet of Things.  News articles link to other news article, bloggers link to other bloggers, all in an effort to spread information.  And of course social media perpetuates this linking as people share articles, pictures and videos on the Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and other platforms.

The most important linking though takes place in our subconscious mind which is why it’s so important to be a watchman, guarding what enters it and performing the occasional mental housecleaning. (Yep another one).  Memories and recollections along with opinions and ideas of others shape what is known as our blueprint.  Since the end of September myself and fellow students have been discovering various tools to assist us in doing our best in chipping away at the cement covering the greatness that is inside.

The importance of linking what we read in Haanel during this week was brought to the forefront during the webinar.  And boy oh boy does part 8 have a treasure trove of linking to the toolbox.  In particular when it comes to the Seven Laws of the Mind, daily exercises, Definite Major Purpose and something known as a Plan of Action to achieve it. Choices

This week happens to be a choice week, continue down the same, old road that brings the same results in life.  A road that perhaps results in lots of wheel spinning due to not knowing one’s purpose in life.  Or take the road less traveled.  A road that provides the tools to help get one where he/she wants to go if willing to do the hard work to become the best possible version of one’s self.

The choice becomes clear fairly quickly once one goes on this courageous Master Keys adventure and starts to understand the reasons behind the use of the tools present in our toolbox via linking.

    Aloha, Brad!

I must concur with my fellow blog rover friend and mastermind partner, John. I think it’s a pretty safe bet if everyone chose “The Road Less Traveled,” this world with all its trials and tribulations would be much better off than it is now. It’s good to see you putting your blog into high gear! 🙂
