MKE Week 15 – Purpose

Purpose

Recently during one of our family movie nights we had the opportunity to watch Disney’s newest animated release Soul.  It was a tremendous movie that focused on identifying what one’s purpose in life is.  And it did so from a unique perspective.

Finding Purpose

Without providing spoilers the short synopsis is that Joe has the opportunity to reflect on his life and realizes it wasn’t quite the life he expected.  He’s determined of course to get back an achieve what he thinks his purpose is, performing as a jazz musician.  In the process of attempting to achieve this purpose he ends up assisting a “soul” that hasn’t experienced life find their spark in life as well.  Ultimately the movie highlights the importance of finding happiness while pointing out that what provides just might not be so obvious.  And how it’s found via our mental attitude and harmony.

“If you wish harmonious conditions in your life, you must develop an harmonious mental attitude.”

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System

While enjoying this movie with family I was reminded again of connections to this spectacular journey known as the Master Key Experience.  During the first few weeks of the journey the focus is on looking within to find what our needs are along with our definite major purpose.  Going through this process of finding our individual dharma one may find out, like Joe did, that our ultimate purpose isn’t really what society may have conditioned us to think it is.  Then as Joe did we can manifest that dharma to experience true happiness while recognizing that each of us is nature’s greatest miracle.
