The possibilities of thought training are infinite, its consequence eternal, and yet few take the pains to direct their thinking into channels that will do them good, but instead leave all to chance.
Big Thoughts
Thoughts are a powerful thing. That was my big take away from Part Twenty-One of Haanel’s The Master Key System. Yet as Marden illustrates in the above quote, many leave their thoughts to chance instead of focusing them. This is a dangerous thing to do, considering creative thoughts are one of the secrets of success. As pointed out in numerous times throughout the weekly readings and during our weekly Master Key Experience webinars the world without is a reflection of the world within.
This is pointed out yet again in paragraph 9:
In this way conditions are produced and we find that our lives are simply the reflection of our predominant thoughts, our mental attitude.
This is why it’s so important to be the watchman at the gate. Why it’s so important to identify one’s definite major purpose and pursue it, instead of going along with the ho-hum wandering from day to day. In other words give yourself that reason to get up and face each day by using the power of that creative mind the Creator has provided you with.
And don’t be afraid to think BIG thoughts when it comes to the endeavors of your future self.
