MKE Week 4 – Give More
Another fantastic learning week on this courageous adventure. During my readings of Part 4 of Haanel’s Master Key there were so many different connections back to the daily habits, reading the blueprint builder and developing my blueprint. What stood out though was give more when considering some things that have occurred over the last week or so.

This powerful statement in Part 4.21 I had the opportunity to see in action over the last two weeks in different ways. The first was an online fundraiser for someone I have known since childhood. Jean has always been focused on giving so much to her community. Among the charitable contributions are leading the way raising money for local shelters or to help veterans with mental health obstacles, organizing the Jerry Parins ride for cancer, collecting items for Salvation Army events, bell ringing at Christmas, encouraging support of local school auctions, volunteering time for helping seniors.
Recently she discovered a nodule in her lung turned cancerous and that she needs to have a surgery that insurance won’t cover. A fundraiser was organized on GoFundMe and in just three days the money was needed. Just one example of give more in action.
“If we wish to be of service to others we must have power and more power, but to get it we must give it; we must be of service.”Charles Haanel, The Master Key System
This past week was the largest fundraiser in Northeast Wisconsin for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Gourmet Wishes. Due to the current pandemic this outstanding event was virtual, so there was no opportunity to taste foods and drinks from area restaurants. It was an outstanding event none the less. During the event this video was shared regarding the beginning of Make-A-Wish. It’s a tremendous example of how being of service to others can be impactful.
Since that first wish forty years ago 500,000 wishes have been granted through the Make-A-Wish organization. Linda and the volunteers who made her son’s wish come true had a purpose with a burning desire to be in service to others by providing hope and strength to medically eligible children through granting wishes. Personally I am so grateful for an organization like Make-A-Wish as our family is a Wish family, having experienced first hand the power of a wish when our Aiden was granted his wish in 2015. A trip to the amusement parks of Central Florida that ended up occurring a mere 3 months before he passed away. Another example of give more in action.
The adventure continues to become more powerful as the cement is chipped away, what week 5 brings is going to be interesting.
